Moien!

Most of us end up scattered across a dozen services: a professional profile here, a photo album there, a playlist somewhere else. Moien! pulls all of that back together into a small homepage of your own, behind an address short enough to say out loud, print on a card, or drop into an e-mail signature: moien.net/YourName.

What a page holds

• A profile photo and a short biography: who you are, what you do.
• Your links, each with an emoji of your choosing: social profiles, playlists, photo albums, anything on the web you want to point people at.
• An address you pick yourself, rather than an ID some platform assigned you.

Made to be read anywhere

Pages adapt to the screen they are opened on, from a phone to a wide desktop display, and follow the reader's light or dark preference instead of imposing one. Nothing to install, nothing to configure on the visitor's side.

No account needed to visit

Anyone can open a Moien! page: no sign-up wall, no app, no “log in to see this”. That was the whole point of building it: too many services now hold a personal profile hostage behind a registration form, and a page whose only job is to introduce you should not do that to the people you send it to. Creating your own page needs an account; reading someone else's never does.

Free, and staying that way

Every feature is free, and will remain free for as long as Moien! is running. There is no paid tier holding back the useful parts.

Why it exists

I built Moien! as a vibe coding challenge: an experiment in how far conversational, AI-assisted development gets you on a small, well-defined web service. It turned into something I actually use.

Moien means hello or good morning in Luxembourgish, which felt like the right name for a page that exists to say exactly that.
